We are proud to announce that our Executive Director- Group Supply Chain Management, Mr. Sanjeev Wangoo, has been honoured with the prestigious "Supply Chain Leadership Award" at the Intralogistics & Warehousing Expo, held at the Pune International Exhibition Centre on 22nd May 2025 as a recognition of his decades of leadership and operational expertise.

As he could not attend the event in person, the award was received on his behalf by Mr. Arijit Bhattacharya, Sr. General Manager - SCM and Mr. Devraj Singh, Deputy General Manager - Logistics (NLL)", who proudly represented Veedol at this esteemed platform.

On May 6, 2025, Veedol, the official partner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), hosted the Veedol x KKR Meet & Greet 2025 at JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata.
The event celebrated the spirit of partnership, bringing together Veedol's distributors, dealers, employees and international partners under one roof.
It commenced with a captivating performance by the legendary Usha Uthup, setting an energetic tone for the festivities. Attendees had the exclusive opportunity to interact with KKR players Quinton de Kock, Harshit Rana, Mayank Markande and Moeen Ali, creating memorable moments that highlighted the strong bond between Veedol and KKR.

We have been honored with the Supplier Excellence Award from Atul Auto, a leading global manufacturer of three-wheeled vehicles, for FY 2024-25. The prestigious award was presented at the Spares Parts Distributor Conference 2025, recently held in Pushkar, Rajasthan and was received by Mr. Naresh Sharma, Senior Vice President – B2B Business.

At the Global Symposium on Resource Efficiency & Circular Economy Industry Coalition (RECEIC), Mr. Arijit Basu, Managing Director of Veedol, shared key insights during the panel discussion on "Unlocking Circularity in the Used Oil Sector: Overcoming Challenges and Seizing Opportunities."

He highlighted the need for collaborative ecosystems, policy and OEM leadership and the importance of standardization, digitization and incentivization to drive scalable circular solutions.

The successful launch of 'V-Suraksha – Apni Suraksha Dil Se' was a pivotal step in Veedol’s journey towards enhancement of safety culture .

Veedol proudly powered the 27th NLGI (National Lubricating Grease Institute) Lubricating Grease Conference at JW Marriott, Pune, on February 6 -8, 2025, driving discussions on bio-greases and sustainable lubricants.

The 3rd Edition of the Manufacturing and MSME Conclave & Business Excellence Awards 2024 was organised by ASSOCHAM at Kolkata where we were honored with the Most Sustainable Manufacturing Unit of the Year Award.

At the BCC&I Marketing Conclave, held at Taj Vivanta. Kolkata, on 7 Dec 2024 - Veedol MD Mr. Arijit Basu shared insights on evolving customer behavior, brand-influencer dynamics and the role of AI in shaping modern marketing strategies. The conclave, themed "Influence of Influencers in Marketing Today", highlighted how influencer marketing has become a powerful strategy for building authentic connections, driving engagement and creating lasting impressions.

Our MD, Mr. Arijit Basu, took center stage as the Guest of Honour at EIILM-Kolkata’s Apavrinu-Vayam-IV Fest, delivering an inspiring keynote on Purpose Beyond Profit.

At the 2nd Rosefield Conference in Mumbai, Mr. Arijit Basu emphasized digitization market strategies and OEM collaboration, highlighting the need for a customer-centric approach in the evolving lubricant industry.

On August 23, 2024, at Hyatt Centric, Kolkata, we proudly launched our new Industrial speciality range. A new solar power system was inaugurated at our Oragadam plant in Chennai on 7th March 2024 by our Managing Director, Mr. Arijit Basu. There are a total of 831 such solar panels in this new system with a capacity of 540 WP each. Also present were our Vice President (Southern Region & Workshops), Mr. D Anandan, our Vice President (Group Manufacturing), Mr. Sanjay Bharadwaj, our Deputy General Manager (Sales), Mr. E. Madhan Kumar Daniel and our Senior Manager (Marketing Analytics), Mr. K.J. Anil Kumar.

ASSOCHAM organized a Manufacturing Conclave in Bhubaneswar on 28th February 2024 on the theme 'Unlocking the potential of Industry 5.0'. Speaking at the event were our Managing Director & Chairman of ASSOCHAM Manufacturing Council East, Mr. Arijit Basu, our General Manager (Technology & Services) Mr. Kalpendra Rajurkar and other distinguished leaders from the industry. A knowledge report on 'Reimagining Manufacturing: Smart Approaches for the Next Phase with a Spotlight on Odisha' was also released at this event by the organizers.

Our Chairman, Mr. D.S Chandavarkar and our Managing Director, Mr. Arijit Basu inaugurated the Veedol stall at the 26th Lubricating Grease Conference at Hotel JW Marriott, Kolkata for the NLGI India Chapter 2024. Also present were our Executive Director, Mr. Vikas Gupta, our Vice President, Mr. S Rudra, our Head of Technology, Dr. Kalpendra Rajurkar and our Deputy General Managers, Mr. Satya Ranjan Mohapatra and Mr. Debraj Banerjee. This was an opportunity to interact with industry experts from all over the world. We are showcasing our wide range of greases for a variety of automotive and industrial applications. A journey down memory lane was relived at the Eastern Command, Fort William in Kolkata where Veedol was one of the sponsors of The Statesman Vintage Car Rally 2024 held on the 21st of January. More than 120 vintage and classic cars & two-wheelers were showcased at the historical event. The Veedol Corporation Limited (formerly Tide Water Oil Co. (India) Ltd.) trophy was awarded by our Managing Director Mr. Arijit Basu at the prize distribution ceremony.

Veedol was judged runner-up in the Sustainability Initiative category of the prestigious Rosefield Awards. The awards were handed out at the Rosefield Conference for Lubricants & Fuels held on 14th December, 2023 in Mumbai. The awards function was attended by Mr. Arijit Basu, Managing Director; Mr. Vikas Gupta, Executive Director – Global Sales & Marketing; Mr. Sanjay Bharadwaj, VP – Group Manufacturing and Mr. Kalpendra Rajurkar, GM – Technology & Services.

Team Veedol was at Excon 2023, South Asia’s largest construction equipment and technology exhibition, organised by CII. It was held in Bengaluru between 12th and 16th December 2023. This opportunity was utilised to showcase Veedol’s wide range of high-performance engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils, specialty greases, vehicle care and sanitization products tailored for the construction and mining sector.

Mr. Arijit Basu, Managing Director, and other senior company officials attended the event and interacted with industry partners in the B2B space, including OEMs and channel partners.

The newly revamped Veedol Auto Mechanic Academy was inaugurated by Mr Arijit Basu , Executive Director Veedol Corporation Limited (formerly Tide Water Oil Co. (India) Ltd.) in the presence of  Mr Arindam Lahiri, CEO Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) & Mr Subrata Dutta, Managing Director George College of Management & Science) 

The course curriculum has been designed and developed as per the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) guidelines for vehicle servicing and maintenance.

In October 2022, we have tied up with M/s George College of Management & Science to bring their well-known expertise to student selection, training & placement.
